The demand for energy is growing, human society has matured enough to make solar radiant philosophy artistic and
playful. Therefore, the development of a ‘Wearable battery charger, birthing bilateral photovoltaic pictographic art
paired with kinetic energy; utilizing inexhaustible and renewable energy sources. An educational informational (E/I)
multilingual tool is born, people around the World will inquire attention to the use of and project technology awareness
of future emission-free energy innovations.
[04] Introducing the ‘SolarPal family’, herein referred to as ‘SolarPal’, namely utilizing ‘THE HOOKER METHOD’; the
‘obverse side’ utilizing sunlight converting radiant energy into electricity on one side and the ‘reverse side’ utilizing
artificial light converting lumens into electricity on the opposite side, namely photovoltaic power generation, energy is
stored in a battery bank. Charging state now can be effectively drawn from the battery bank, power devices anytime,
charges in opaque conditions.
[05] Sustainable, renewable, clean energy learning tool, a solar power learning tool, a magnetic magnetosphere
learning tool, an organic fabric learning tool. An E/I tool foaling intuitive knowledge.
[06] Most cellular devices are equipped with rechargeable batteries which recharged through a power conversion
adapter used in conjunction with household power, It would be prudent to have a wearable battery charging apparatus
that is capable of using solar power to charge batteries in a cellular phone or devices.
[07] It would be prudent to have a battery charging device that is alternatively capable of charging the battery in a
cellular phone using the power of conductive wire~less Qi (Chee, Chi) rechargeable batteries within Qi (Chee, Chi)
receiver.
[08] It would further be prudent to have a battery charging apparatus that uses solar power and kinetic energy to
charge one or more self contained ‘rechargeable’ ‘replaceable’ ‘interchangeable’ batteries, for use as the battery bank
and that permits use of said interchangeable battery bank to charge the battery in the devices directly.
[09] This invention relates stick figure, pictographic art to a battery charger which charges a battery using geminate
solar cells and kinetic energy for interchangeable battery charging. Said geminate sided solar cells ‘body’ arranged as
art, with interchangeable battery bank said ‘head’ stores electricity.
[010] In recent years all types of electrical equipment have been miniaturized and made lightweight, and many
portable electronic products have become available, rechargeable batteries are used, rechargeable batteries can be
repeatedly re-used simply by charging, have capacity allowing storage of electrical current, this ability to re~charge
devices are extremely convenient to use.
[011] Wherefore, rechargeable batteries can store electric energy. Therefore, devices batteries can be re~charged by
solar radiant activity. Charges portable devices being carried about indoors or outdoors, the solar charged batteries
produce stored electricity and retain energy even when there is no solar activity. Solar battery chargers are economical.
Further, since solar cell output is Direct Current (D/C) no current conversion circuitry is required.
[012] It is the first object of this invention to present a battery charger with geminate sided solar cells. SolarPals are
easily portable, hands free and wearable, can be quickly set to recharge run-down batteries in portable electrical
equipment, has solar cells which have sufficient output for charging portable device batteries. a magnetically
attachable, interchangeable battery capabilities
[013] It is the next object of this invention to provide attached method to clothing. Further, can charge those said
interchangeable rechargeable batteries while the pictographic solar charger is attached permanent or temporarily by
magnets, double sided adhesive or detachable and re~attached magnetically. The peripheral ‘body’ is comprised of
earth magnets at joint points reverse of solar body, including the interchangeable battery bank the ‘head’.
[014] Our SolarPal apparatus intertwines assorted solar cells and kinetic energy modules; using collectively
photovoltaic thin solar amorphous film modules, mono crystalline, poly crystalline, CIGS, collect solar radiance from the
sun, collect lumens from indoor lighting, kinetic modules capture energy by an object in motion. The earth revolving
around the sun, you walking down the street, molecules moving in space all have kinetic energy. etc. SolarPals
intertwine assorted energy collecting modules and utilize an interchangeable storage battery / power bank. SolarPal
are Solar Art that create clean and free electricity that powers electronic devices.
[015] The primary object of this invention, present a necklace type, wearable, erectable, flexible, bilateral solar art
linking kinetic energy, energy captured and stored in a battery bank resembling robotic attributes. Obverse side solar
modules collect solar radiance from the sunshine creating electricity and reverse side solar modules collect lumens
from artificial indoor lighting creating electricity.
[016] It is a further primary object of this invention to present juxtaposed flexible solar cell apparatuses; pictographic
art creating hieroglyphically expressions in a solar cell apparatus with interchangeable emoji / emoticon said ‘head’
assortment, a flexible electrical connection is limited to a minimum radius of curvature. A solar cell apparatus with
many interconnected solar modules said ‘body’ which is thin, quite pliable and can be bent with a radius of curvature, .
[017] It is thus another further object of this invention to present thin lightweight pictographic art with a variety of
magnetically interchangeable emoticon and robotic expressions, creating portable solar art apparatuses in which
intuitive minds will seek information resulting in next generation energy breakthrough technology beyond solar and
kinetics.
[018] More importantly the magnetically interchangeable battery charger unit contains the battery safety circuitry and
diodes casing ‘head’ unit is magnetically connected to the solar body and described as said ‘head’. The battery bank
assembly is removable and replaceable between a magnetic backing configuration. the kinetic component parts lie in
glyphic plane, simultaneously linking energy collecting and storage components. The apparatus operates in five
different modes; namely, a first mode in which the solar modules are connected to charge or power an electronic
device, second mode connecting said solar energy collecting component to rechargeable battery in which the solar
modules charge the apparatuses ‘Solar Pal’ ‘head’ interchangeable battery bank, a third mode in which the
interchangeable battery bank is used to charge or power a device coupled to the battery bank, and a fourth mode in
which the apparatus supplies Qi (chi, chee) wireless inductive charging capabilities to charge or power Qi integrated
devices placed on or near the Qi apparatus thereto. and a fifth mode in which the apparatus is reversible, exposing the
obverse side to sunlight and the reverse side facing the interior luminous lighting producing energy from both sides of
the SolarPal, utilizing available resources.
[019] Ultra lightweight solar cell modules and kinetic modules are used as the source of power for charging the Ultra
lightweight battery bank; the interchangeable battery stores electricity to said head, wearable as a necklace, permanent
and temporary adhesively and magnetically attaches to clothing. Suction cups, magnetic backing, allows for convenient
deployment; placed wherever there is sunshine by hanging, attaching the charger to other objects, without limiting in a
certain fixed platform. Powers all portable electronic devices. SolarPal apparatuses juice it up.
[020] The battery charger of this invention comprises an interchangeable battery charger unit which connects
magnetically attaching interchangeable batteries, the ‘head’ to the ‘body’, solar cells which are used as the power
source to charge batteries and connecting parts to electrically connect the solar cells and the battery charger. Solar
cells which are used as the power source to charge batteries and connecting parts physically, utilizing material housing
magnets that attachment and detachment the ‘head’. The battery charger unit is provided with an interchangeable
battery bank storing the solar radiant electricity for spontaneous usage, namely when no sunshine or overcast or in
darkness. Taking care to see that the interchangeable batteries are periodically charged using the solar panels or
alternating current (A/C) outlet, one can always be assured of having battery backup power.
[021] The utility model; SolarPal photovoltaic portable device charger can easily be placed in any place where there is
sunlight or artificial lighting, deferring irradiated energy to be charged and stored, the SolarPal is not limited to a fixed
platform. By the SolarPal attached to the objects, especially on obvious and other objects, can be directed to facilitate
charging improving the light absorption efficiency magnetically attachment to the ‘SolarPal dock’ and any metal object
attracted to earth magnets and use of the necklace chain to display your SolarPal, wearable on your body, place on
object allowing energy absorptions from anything that moves.
[022] Extremely importantly is safety built into the configuration of the battery charger, electrical apparatus and
battery head, which is the battery charger unit, control circuits and over~charging port, over heating, shut~off,
dis~charging prevention diodes are safely arranged in an encasement system. Making the SolarPal system safe and
fool~proof. In addition, by connecting the solar cells to the battery charger unit, the electrical equipment can be
charged while worn, carried, on neck chain, placed in position, mounted and attachable to objects with magnetic
properties, fastened to shirt or clothing safely.
[023] Briefly, a presently preferred embodiment of the our invention is an assembly comprised of four basic
component parts including separate solar cells, kinetic modules and a battery and Diodes in a battery ‘necklace’
‘medallion’ housing. The solar modules are connected together cunductively and the battery and containing diodes
connected to the neck of the solar modules. The solar modules and kinetic modules configuration are in which the
component parts lie in a pictographic plane. SolarPals can be manufactured in variety and quantity.
[024] An important advantage of the present invention is that it provides a portable means for charging the battery of
a cellular phone or other battery powered devices inside and outside without requiring connection to residential or
commercial power source; photovoltaic resources no emissions.
[025] An equally important advantage of the present invention is that the battery bank ‘head’ can be replaced. While
the solar modules have a life expectancy of 25+ years, the battery life expectancy on average is 500 more or less
charges, average of -5 years. The battery is replaceable and interchangeable to extend the life of the SolarPal.
[026] It is therefore an object of the present invention to utilizes magnetosphere, kinetic, luminescent and solar
radiance from the sun power as its power source, provide a convenient water~proof apparatus for charging batteries
and powering portable devices.
[027] It is another object of the present invention to provide pictographic solar battery-charging apparatus that has
educational aspects, encouraging the next generation society the importance of clean, sustainable sources, to spark
general knowledge and future advections.
[028] It is yet another object of the invention to provide a Qi (chi, Chee) device to wire~lessly charge cellular phone
batteries from a set of rechargeable batteries not originally included with the cellular phone. The wire~less interface
circuitry is connected within the receiving devices battery / connection. The charging port is used to wirelessly connect
the charging devices battery. The Qi (Chi, Chee) uses wireless conductive interface charging. The present invention
provides an apparatus of the type described receiver that can be used to charge and power electronic devices without
attached wires.
[029] One advantage, use in case of emergency where no electricity is available and where the environment has
sufficient light to actuate the solar panel ‘body’ SolarPals shall continue charging and storing electricity, fashioning
devices with expediential energy perpetually available and connected to the intranet for communications usage.
Rechargeable batteries said ‘head’ is utilized to power the devices through the battery bank arrangement.
[030] Finally, the structure of the present invention allows the solar cells and kinetic modules, which charge the
batteries, to be worn as necklace, attached to clothing, also reversed and reattached via magnetic envelopment. The
utility model aims to provide a wearable solar battery charger, conveniently reversible and attaches to other objects in
order to facilitate the use of.
